Piper Glen Kitchen Remodel, Charlotte, NC
The client requested a Kitchen and Breakfast Room remodel to accommodate their love of cooking and entertaining. My goal was to create a natural flow allowing ease of use and maximum functionality. To create a chef’s kitchen, the outdated existing cabinetry and appliances were replaced with linen finished and glazed Geppetto cabinetry and professional grade appliances. The custom copper hood serves as the focal point, accentuated by the custom diagonal herringbone design. Lapidus Granite countertops and tumbled marble backsplash bring movement and shine to the space. The featured pendant lights are luxurious with lots of movement. The island, which was re-designed to maximize functionality, features a smart touchless faucet. I accentuated the existing form of the Breakfast Room with the addition of stained cedar planks to draw attention to the height of the space, adding a cozy space for my client to enjoy the morning paper and coffee.
